Dear MLS Families,
Our Grade 4 and 5 students did an amazing job in each of their performances this past week during our Winter Celebration. The event was a joyful music celebration that highlighted the rich diversity of cultures and traditions within our McKenzie Lake School community. Through song, dance, drums, and chimes, students showcased their learning and growth in the music program under the guidance of Ms. Kvicala.
The upcoming week will be a festive one, with several Spirit Days and caroling in the gym as a fun way to wrap up 2025 before Winter Break. Please be sure to note the important dates listed below under Coming Up.

When temperatures reach -20oC, with the windchill, students remain inside for recess. Temperatures fluctuate throughout the day, therefore always send your child with clothing appropriate for them playing outside.
