Dear McKenzie Lake Families,

The week leading up to Winter Break was a busy and joyful one, filled with Grade 5 field trips and festive activities, including spirit days, caroling in the gym, and even a few elves appearing in unexpected places.

We would like to thank everyone who supported our Grade 5 Food Bank Drive. Thanks to the generosity of our MLS families, an impressive 450 lbs. of food was donated this year to support families in our extended community.

On behalf of all MLS staff, we wish you a safe, restful, and joyful winter break. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday, January 5.
