Dear McKenzie Lake Families,

With temperatures rising this weekend, it would be a great idea to get outside and enjoy the fresh air while burning off some energy, after another week of indoor recess and lunch.  The outdoor rinks are open and a fun way to get out and get some exercise or maybe head to Fish Creek Park for a family walk.

Our School Council supported us in adding new snowshoes to our inventory, and with warmer temperatures in the forecast, some classes may be testing them out in the coming weeks.  Please ensure your child comes prepared for outdoor activities, including snow pants and boots.

2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

Monday, January 15 families are able to begin registering their children for kindergarten.  Click here for information regarding kindergarten registration.  Please note that you will be asked to note if you prefer an AM or PM kindergarten placement, but this is not guaranteed.  AM/PM class placements will be confirmed after we have determined how many AM and PM classes we are able to accommodate for the 2024-2025 school year.  Further information will be emailed to families once their registration has been processed by the school.  Registrations are not confirmed until all required documentation has been uploaded.

Sincerely,

Dayna McComish
