Dear McKenzie Lake Families,

On the morning of Monday, January 12, the Alberta Musical Theatre Company will be visiting MLS to present Pinocchio, generously sponsored by our School Council. This will be a unique and engaging experience for students, so it’s a great day to ensure everyone arrives at school on time.

We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Davis, who has accepted a new position within the Calgary Board of Education. She will be transitioning into an Administrative Assistant role at Haultain Memorial School. As our School Secretary, Mrs. Davis has been a familiar and welcoming presence to all, and while she will be greatly missed at MLS, we are excited for her as she takes this next step in her professional journey. Her last day at MLS will be Thursday, January 15.

Finally, thank you in advance to all parents and guardians volunteering at our Casino Fundraiser on Thursday and Friday. We truly appreciate your support of our largest fundraiser, and we hope you enjoy the opportunity to connect with other MLS families. I look forward to seeing some of you there.
