Dear MLS Families,

It was an exciting week for our Grade 4 students, who spent Wednesday and Thursday at Canada Olympic Park participating in skiing and snowboarding lessons. For many students, this was their first experience on the slopes, and they returned sharing how it was both a little scary and very exciting. Students were grouped by ability for their lessons, with some learning on the magic carpet while others headed up the chairlift. I suspect a few families may have already been asked this weekend when the next family ski trip might be!

Supporting 110 students as they retrieved and put on their rental equipment required many helping hands. We would like to extend a big thank you to the parent volunteers who helped make this opportunity possible for our students.

Parent–Teacher Conferences are scheduled for March 19 and 20. Parents will be able to book their conference time beginning March 11 at 3:00 p.m. by logging into their MyCBE account.
