Dear McKenzie Lake Families,

Thank you for helping make our Used Book Sale a huge success! A special thank you goes out to Ms. Frank and the dedicated group of Grade 5 students who organized and ran the event. It was wonderful to see so many students excited to shop for books—for themselves, their siblings, and other family members. We hope those books will continue to be enjoyed by new readers.

Thank you as well to everyone who generously donated books. The money raised from the sale will be donated to our School Council to support fundraising efforts for a new playground.

Looking ahead to this coming week, our Grade 1 and PM Kindergarten students will be heading out on field trips, and our Grade 5 Safety Patrollers will be celebrating a great year of service by attending the annual Patrollers Picnic at Heritage Park. We’re so proud of their commitment to keeping our school community safe!
