Dear McKenzie Lake Families,

We extend our gratitude to all who joined us for the Grade 2 celebration of learning. The students truly shone as they showcased their Social Studies journey throughout the year. From exploring various Canadian communities like Acadia, the Inuit, and the Prairie community, to sharing their talents through playing spoons, poems, skits, songs, and even line-dancing, their enthusiasm was infectious.

It's remarkable how swiftly we find ourselves at the threshold of the final month of the school year.  As this busy period unfolds, marked by numerous events and celebrations, we also observe a surge in misplaced jackets and sweaters left out on the playground in the warmer weather. These items often find their way to our Lost and Found. While our Fashion Show Fridays help reunite some items with their owners, we encourage parents to visit the Lost and Found and reclaim any recognizable belongings. Any unclaimed items at the end of the school year will be donated.

CBE Bus Registration – due by June 16

Registration for transportation for 2024-2025 is now open.  It is important that families register for bussing prior to June 16, in order to ensure they are confirmed for transportation for the beginning of the year.  If you miss the registration deadline, it is most likely there will be delays (of up to 6 weeks) for transportation being available for your child(ren).
