Dear MLS Families,

This coming week is shaping up to be a very busy one at MLS with our Soccer Residency, Fun Lunch, Twins Day, and— for some classes—field trips to the City Landfill and choir.

For Twins Day, students are invited to coordinate their outfits with a friend or staff member at MLS. Alternatively, they may choose to wear a jersey and look for their “twin” somewhere in the school throughout the day.

Our Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Monday, November 24. If you would like your child to participate, please inform their teacher in advance. Emails sent the morning of retakes may not be seen in time, so early notice ensures your child is able to go for their photo.

On Wednesday, November 19 at 3:00 p.m., conference booking opens for parents. By logging into your MyCBE account, you will be able to schedule a Parent-Teacher Conference for November 27 or 28. Families are also welcome to book conference times with our Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Cox, and our Music teacher, Mrs. Kvicala.

Child and Youth Well-being Family & Caregiver Series

The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join a live online series on supporting child and youth well-being. The series is hosted by the Recovery Alberta Community Education Service (CES) Program in collaboration with local experts from the Calgary community.  Information can be found the CBE website (Click here) in addition to the attached poster.
