Dear McKenzie Lake Families,
Welcome back! After a brief week following fall break, we’re diving into a full five-day week for students. It promises to be an exciting week, with Grade 4 field trips, Grade 1 & 2 Choir, and on Thursday, students are encouraged to wear a jersey or shirt representing their favorite sports team. It’s also Fun Snack Day!
Looking ahead to the first week of December, Mrs. Knox will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair at McKenzie Lake School. For students, this is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the school year—and we need your help to make it a success! We’re calling on volunteers to help students discover the joy of books. Plus, every purchase at the Book Fair directly benefits our school, so it’s a win-win for everyone.

- Book Fair Set Up: Friday, November 29 (morning shift)
- Student Previews: Monday, December 2 & Tuesday, December 3 (morning and afternoon shifts)
- Student Book Sales: Wednesday, December 4 & Thursday, December 5 (morning and afternoon shifts)
- Book Fair Take Down: Friday, December 6 (morning shift)
