Dear MLS Families,

It is hard to believe that just one year ago our kindergarten students were touring the school during Kindergarten Orientation. This week, they proudly showcased their personalities, growth, and learning during Thursday’s Kindergarten Celebration. What a wonderful milestone! Goodbye Kindergarten, hello Grade 1!

On Friday, we welcomed the many individuals who have volunteered throughout the year in a variety of capacities to our Volunteer Tea. Students shared songs and teachers provided refreshments as a small token of appreciation for the time, energy, and support our volunteers have contributed to McKenzie Lake School. We are grateful for the many ways our volunteers help enrich our school community.

Grade 2 & 3 Spring Concert

We are excited to invite our Grade 2 and 3 families to the Spring Concert on Thursday, June 18.

The evening performance is a ticketed event. Due to the capacity limitations of our gymnasium, each family will receive two tickets. Tickets will be sent home with students on Monday. If your child is unable to attend the evening performance, please notify their teacher by email.

For additional family members who would like to attend, we will also be hosting an afternoon performance on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are not required for the afternoon performance.
